Tokyo-based photographer RYO KATSUMURA presents his first photo zine, “SEOUL.”
In this work, he walks through the city and photographs quiet moments of light, reflections, and subtle atmospheres found in everyday urban scenes.
Rather than focusing on famous landmarks, the photographs capture small moments that simply felt right to him while moving through the city.
In 2026, the zine was featured by the Taiwanese culture media FLiPER, and it is now also available at the art bookstore THE BOOK SOCIETY in Seoul.
The zine has also been presented at ZINE events in Japan, where it has gradually begun to reach readers both in Japan and abroad.
Even when the city changes, the feeling of “something good” inside me remains the same.
Trusting that quiet sense, I walk through cities and photograph the moments that stay with me.
These photographs were gathered into this small zine.
I would be very happy if the work quietly stays with you as well.

街を歩きながら撮影した写真をまとめました。
